Yellow Jambhala Thangka | Hand-Painted Symbol of Prosperity and Spiritual Abundance

Yellow Jambhala, the God of Wealth in Tibetan Buddhism, embodies generosity, prosperity, and the compassionate power to remove poverty — both material and spiritual. More than a symbol of wealth, he represents the wisdom to use fortune righteously and the virtue of sharing blessings with all beings. His presence is believed to attract abundance while nurturing gratitude and compassion.

In this thangka, Yellow Jambhala is depicted with a radiant golden-yellow body, seated regally upon a lotus throne. His right hand holds a jewel-spouting mongoose, symbolizing the endless flow of generosity, while his left hand cradles a wealth-producing fruit, representing fulfillment and good fortune. Adorned with jeweled ornaments and a crown of divine authority, his expression combines power with benevolence — the strength to protect wealth and the grace to bestow it wisely. The composition radiates warmth and abundance, reflecting both spiritual and worldly prosperity.

Hand-painted in Lhasa, Tibet, this thangka carries forward centuries of sacred artistry. Natural mineral pigments — such as gold dust, malachite, and cinnabar — are carefully prepared and layered to achieve vibrant color and lasting brilliance. Every brushstroke is an act of devotion, transforming pigment into prayer and faith into art.

Created by Lixindi, a national-level inheritor of Tibetan intangible cultural heritage, this Yellow Jambhala thangka merges exquisite craftsmanship with profound spiritual meaning. His brushwork captures vitality and blessing — as Tibetan masters say, “When the image breathes, the blessing lives.” Through vivid colors and powerful symmetry, this thangka invokes the protective and generous energy of the wealth deity.

This thangka carries the blessings of Yellow Jambhala — abundance, generosity, and spiritual wealth. Perfect for homes, meditation spaces, or places of business, it invites prosperity rooted in wisdom and compassion, turning every success into an act of giving.

“Wealth shared from compassion never fades.”
Invite the radiant energy of Yellow Jambhala — a hand-painted thangka that embodies prosperity, generosity, and enlightened abundance.

She has studied under many renowned mentors such as Niangben, Danzeng Nima, and Luozang Rejie, delving deep into the craftsmanship. Despite numerous hardships during the creative process, she has always maintained a sincere love for Thangka art.
